PUPPY FOUNDATIONS TRAINING PROGRAM
We are excited to offer our Puppy Foundations Training Program for our puppy buyers, designed to give your puppy a strong start during one of the most important developmental stages.

This program runs for 4 weeks, from 8–12 weeks of age, and the total cost is $1,500.
​
During this time, your puppy will live with us in our home and be part of our daily routine as we focus on building important early habits. The program emphasizes confidence, exposure, bonding, basic obedience, and foundational life skills that will benefit your puppy for years to come. You will also receive weekly updates from us including photos and/or videos of what your puppy learned and experienced that week. ​

Our goal with this program is simple: to set both you and your puppy up for long-term success by providing a thoughtful and structured start to training and development.
What Your Puppy Will Learn

Name recognition and responding when called

Beginning recall skills through fun and positive training games

Crate training foundations for naps and overnight sleep

Structured potty routines to support house training

Comfort wearing a collar and leash introduction

Positive socialization with new people, environments, & everyday experiences

Confidence exploring new surfaces and surroundings

Handling and grooming desensitization (paws, ears, mouth, nail trims, & baths)

Exposure to common household sounds such as vacuums & appliances

Calm behavior in the home and appropriate play with toys

Positive car ride experiences
All training is kept short, positive, and age-appropriate to ensure puppies remain confident and eager to learn.
What You Will Receive When Your Puppy Goes Home
At the conclusion of the Training Program, your puppy will go home at 12 weeks old with:

Vaccination at 10-12 weeks old (in addition to their initial puppy vaccination)

De-worming at 12 weeks (in addition to their 8-week de-worming)

Training notes and tips to help you continue reinforcing the skills your puppy has learned

Recommendations for the next stages of training as your puppy grows
Gun Dog Foundations Add-On:
This add-on to the Puppy Foundations Program is perfect for those who plan to utilize their GSP as a hunting companion. Not necessary or required, but a great option for those who want it. This option adds $300 to the program.

This Gun Dog Foundations Add-On will focus on instinct development, confidence, and prey drive—not control or pressure. These early games help strengthen natural hunting instincts & behaviors while keeping everything fun and positive.
