WHAT TO EXPECT

We want to make the process of leaving your dog in our care as seamless as possible for you. Please read the sections below to help us best serve you!

Making a Reservation

In order to make a reservation for your dog, please email blackbarnkennelsohio@gmail.com or call/text 937-307-9246. Let us know the dates you'd like to reserve. We will follow-up for more information.

We will be in touch a few days before your stay to schedule a drop-off time. We ask that you arrive as close as possible to the scheduled drop-off and pick-up times, as we are a family-run facility and plan our days around our kennel schedule.

Since we are a small 9-kennel facility, we do recommend booking as far in advance as possible during the following busy times, as we may fill up: spring break, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas

Please complete both the New Client Registration Form & Boarding Agreement Form and email to us prior to your scheduled drop-off.

If your dog will require medication while in our care, please also complete the Medication form.

Vaccinations

Please ask your veterinarian to email us your dog's records for the following vaccinations:

Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella

Items to Bring

Please bring enough food for your dog during their stay, a collar and leash, & any necessary medications.

We provide food/water bowls and an elevated Kuranda bed. Not necessary, but you may bring toys, treats, blankets, or anything else to make your dog feel as comfortable as possible!
